Based in Huntsville, Alabama, DMD is the premier, small-business provider of services and technologies in the Federal marketplace. We have supported the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) with distinction since 2002. Our personnel provide services to include: radar and missile engineering, technology evaluation, deployment planning, program planning and execution, system and software development, safety engineering, as well as quality and mission assurance.

Due to the changes in the Federal marketplace pertaining to organizational conflicts of interest (OCI), DMD became an employee owned small business in April 2009. This established a company with over $70M in revenue, 60 employees, and 2 prime contracts (SETAC 07 and SETAB) with 50 task orders totaling over $200M.

Our Evolution:

2002
Dynetics, CAS, and Davidson Technologies formed a joint venture (DCD) to win the SMDC's System Engineering and Technical Assistance Contract (SETAC 02).

2007
After ITT's acquisition of CAS, Millennium Engineering and Integration Company was selected as a replacement in the JV. This resulted in the formation of DMD. DMD competed for and won SMDC's System Engineering and Technical Assistance Contract (SETAC 07).

2008
DMD was awarded a prime contract (SETAB) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

2009
DMD became an employee owned small business in April devoid of any organizational conflicts of interest (OCI).
