SUMMARY:
Seeking experienced Electrician with estimating / planning experience in a nuclear power plant environment who is capable of reviewing and walking down field Engineering Change Packages, interfacing with Engineering and outside vendors to determine the crew size/manpower, materials, rental equipment, subcontractors, etc., needed, and using Microsoft Excel to develop the total cost estimate to complete the scope of work.
SKILLS NEEDED: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) Must possess critical thinking skills and ability to independently solve problems Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on goals to attain defined end results Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite software - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Basic knowledge/understanding of estimating resources in nuclear environment
Extensive knowledge of electrical management and electrical procedures and specifications
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum requirements include Electrical certification or equal years of related Electrical work experience in a Maintenance/Modification or Construction environment, preferably at the General Foreman or Superintendent level.
Will need to successfully complete all training, drug/alcohol, and psychological / background screening elements required to obtain and maintain unescorted access at an operating commercial nuclear power plant.
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $44,000 - $151,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and other factors.
