Job Description
Position Title: Quality Inspection

Wage: $20/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:30pm-12pm

Quality Inspection Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute the quality system activities to prevent quality deviations
- Zero tolerance for defects
- Analysis and troubleshooting in support of efforts to reduce non-conformances
- Collect and record required process data into databases
- Support and guide the organization and coordination of inspection and sorting activities
- Support the decision on the usability of damaged materials
- Monitor and audit operator performance to rules and standards
- Perform process/product audits and work with team on preventive actions
- Support teams in corrective/preventive actions
- Coordinate collection of the quality related costs data
- Assist in disposition of non-conforming materials in SQM quarantine area
- Contribute to development and maintenance of reports tracking KPI's (key process indicators)
- Management and escalation of blocked/suspect stock to ensure timely action closure

Quality Inspection Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of manufacturing or technical quality experience
- Preferred experience with mechanical/electrical drawings and various measurement and inspection systems (GD&T)
- Good spoken and written English
- Great problem-solving and communication skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Teams)
- 2+ years in electronics manufacturing
- Experience running calibrations or in calibration lab
